Wednesday 29th November 23 1- 4.30 pm  

The 'big story' of the Bible

In this session we explore the ‘big story’ of the Bible, using artwork and texts in ways that engage pupils.

Thursday 8th February 24 1- 4.30 pm  

The Impact on Pupils 

In this final session we will be thinking about the purpose and impact of the resource on pupil learning, and considering ways to develop a curriculum for teaching Christianity.


All sessions will be led by Stephen Pett from RE Today. 


Stephen Pett

We welcome Stephen from RE Today to lead this half-day session. Stephen is a primary and secondary specialist. As a national RE Adviser, Stephen provides training and consultancy internationally. He is adviser to three local authorities, is Series Editor for RE Today’s secondary curriculum books, as well as writing and editing other publications including 'Religious Education: The Teacher’s Guide'. Stephen led the development and is Editor of the Understanding Christianity resource.
