The Teacher Pathway is an in-person staff development programme designed for the entire staff team, aiming for consistency in classroom pedagogy, behaviour management, and outcomes. Over a series of four staff meeting sessions, experienced advisers will collaborate with your school to bring practical, evidence-based strategies directly into your school context. As diocesan support, it’s not just another course – it’s rooted in real-world classroom experience, delivered by advisors who understand your community and school vision. With costs tailored to school size, this pathway is an ideal way to bolster staff confidence, refine teaching practice, and cultivate a supportive, collaborative culture – all without disrupting your routines. Let’s help your team learn and grow together!

Our Teacher Pathway includes:
A bespoke package designed together to meet your needs.
-
A virtual meet up with leaders in advance to discuss and agree course content, structure and dates.
-
Four staff meetings, facilitated and delivered by our advisers.
-
Gap tasks will be set between sessions to trial and embed learning over time.
-
Regular check-ins with leaders and an end of programme debrief to ascertain feedback and consider next steps, after the programme has ended.
What one of our schools said...
"We chose to undertake the Teacher Pathway as a whole team. The impact has gone beyond the sessions which in themselves were excellent. We have used the theory and associated practice in all subsequent staff training and keep coming back to the things that we learnt. It has given us a common understanding of current thinking around effective pedagogy and curriculum design. Monitoring shows that my teachers are using the tools that the training provided and are developing their practice in ways that I wouldn't have envisaged before the pathway. We now have teacher research groups with groups of teachers deepening the concepts we learnt by reading further, applying them in their classroom and sharing the outcomes. The pathway has been transformational for us."

...which the subsequent Ofsted then mentioned.
"Staff are knowledgeable and apply learning from professional development in their lessons."

'If we can create a culture where every teacher believes they need to improve, not because they are not good enough, but because they can be even better, there is no limit to what we can achieve.'

'The quality of teaching is the single most important in-school factor for improving pupil outcomes – and it is particularly important for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. Effective professional development is an integral part of ensuring high-quality teaching that enables teachers to manage teaching and learning effectively. Schools should consider how they establish strong professional development cultures which elevate the quality of teaching and ultimately improve pupil outcomes. Professional development should form a key component of teacher objectives, ensuring their professional practice remains up to date with the latest methodologies, technologies and educational research.'
